Most Android apps work on Volla OS via the F-Droid Store or Aurora Store. Apps with mandatory Google Play Services dependency require either the optional microG mode or cannot be installed. Pre-installed are open-source alternatives such as K-9 Mail, Signal, OsmAnd, and Nextcloud. There is no mandatory Volla account requirement.
