Frequently asked questions about FuzeVPN
What is FuzeVPN and what is it used for? +
FuzeVPN is a VPN service from a sole proprietorship in Valenciennes, France. The Windows and Android apps route all device traffic through WireGuard or OpenVPN. The extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Brave protect only the browser in question, and macOS and Linux are limited to this option. The provider does not offer an iPhone app. One account covers up to 5 devices, and P2P and 4K streaming are possible according to the provider.
Does FuzeVPN run on European infrastructure? +
Accounts, database, API and transactional email are hosted at OVH SAS in France, and the website at LWS, a SARL from Paris. The VPN servers are virtual servers from OVH and IONOS in Frankfurt, Gravelines, Gloucester (United Kingdom) and Philadelphia (USA). If a user selects a location outside the EEA, their traffic is processed there transiently. Encrypted backups are stored at Cloudflare R2, restricted to the EU jurisdiction. Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot protection for sign-in and registration, Google Ireland Limited provides the optional Google sign-in and Google Pay, and payments run through SumUp.
Does FuzeVPN store connection data? +
According to the provider, FuzeVPN does not store visited websites, content, DNS queries, session-linked source IP addresses, connection times or server history. By its own account, the servers process traffic in memory only. This statement has not been externally confirmed: the provider writes that no independent audit has been carried out to date and that it checks the configuration itself. Account, device and payment data are stored. Infrastructure providers may keep their own platform logs, at OVHcloud up to 12 months for certain system and access logs.
