pretix The European alternative to Eventbrite

pretix is a German ticketing software from rami.io GmbH for conferences, exhibitions, museums and other events. The platform provides customizable ticket shops, marketing toolkits, direct payment processing, individual ticket management, plus reports and statistics. It is complemented by pretixPOS (point of sale), pretixSCAN (access control and badge printing), pretixKIOSK (ticket vending machine) and the virtual event platform Venueless.

rami.io GmbH is based in Germany and subject to the GDPR. According to the provider, pretix Hosted (SaaS) runs on 100 percent renewable energy. Specific hosting partners are not detailed on the public pages. Because the software is open source, pretix can additionally be operated on own infrastructure, with location and provider freely selectable.

pretix Hosted has no monthly subscription and bills directly per ticket. Paid tickets cost 2.5 percent of the net price, capped at 15 EUR per ticket. Free tickets cost 0.50 EUR each; however, 500 free tickets per year are included, and this quota grows with paid ticket sales. Optional services such as lead scanning (25 EUR per exhibitor) and Peppol invoicing (0.20 EUR per invoice) are billed separately.
