Arturia The European alternative to Native Instruments

Arturia is a French manufacturer of music software and hardware headquartered in the Grenoble area (Montbonnot-Saint-Martin). The company develops software instruments as well as hardware synthesizers, controllers, and audio interfaces. Arturia is particularly known for emulating classic synthesizers and electromechanical keyboard instruments in software. The products are used in studios, in live performance, and in education. The software collection can be combined with the company's own hardware controllers such as KeyLab, MiniLab, and MicroFreak.

Arturia's plugins and virtual instruments are downloadable software and run locally on the user's machine. Arturia itself is headquartered in France and runs development and support from within Europe. Account and licence management is handled through the company's My Arturia portal and the Arturia Software Center. Sample and preset downloads are delivered via Arturia's official infrastructure as well. A constant online connection is not required to use the installed software.

The V Collection is a large bundle of virtual instruments from Arturia that recreates classic synthesizers, organs, pianos, and electromechanical keyboards. It includes emulations of analogue synthesizers such as Mini V, Modular V, and CS-80 V, digital classics such as DX7 V and Synclavier V, and electromechanical instruments such as Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and Clavinet. The bundle also covers pipe organs, acoustic pianos, and string libraries. All instruments can be used as plugins in any common DAW. The collection is expanded with new instruments and updated versions over time.
