Hourtick The European alternative to Clockify / Harvest

Hourtick is a tool for time tracking, tasks and team chat from WeCode A/S in Copenhagen. Time tracking includes idle detection, weekly timesheets, approvals, billable task types and a budget overview. Invoices run through the customer's own Stripe account, and time that has already been invoiced is locked. Hourtick can be used in the browser on desktop and smartphone, and there is also a Mac app for Apple silicon and a menu bar timer. According to the provider, Hourtick never takes screenshots or records apps, websites or keystrokes.

According to the privacy policy, Hourtick stores application data and its database in the EU at Akamai Cloud (Linode) in Frankfurt. Workspace administrators can alternatively choose US storage for uploaded files. The sub-processor list also includes Stripe, sign-in via Google and Apple, Google Analytics (consent only), X Ads, Mailgun in the EU region and Cloudflare as CDN. The provider itself points out that some of these processors are US companies or US-owned, including Akamai, Cloudflare, Stripe, Google and Mailgun.

AI agents are connected via an MCP server and appear in the workspace like team members. They can be mentioned in tasks and chats and track their own working time. According to the provider, Hourtick does not run or choose a model itself; the agent is run by the organisation with an AI provider of its choice. Examples named include Claude, GPT, Grok and Cursor. A REST API and CSV export are also available.
