According to the terms of use, the service is hosted by the French provider OVHcloud. According to the provider, the company is owned by its founder and team and is funded by customer revenue rather than external investors. Alternatively, Piwigo can be installed on one's own servers, in which case all data remains on one's own infrastructure. The community site piwigo.org is run by a French non-profit association.
Can Piwigo be self-hosted? +
