Frequently asked questions about Otnox

What is Otnox and what is it used for? +

Otnox is a public tender platform operated by SIA Vietne from Riga. It is aimed at sales teams, consultancies and bid managers who sell to public buyers. According to the provider, the data comes directly from the official procurement portals of each country and appears within minutes of publication. The home page mentions more than 80 markets, while the pricing page lists 56 covered markets. Tenders can be managed in a pipeline with the stages watch, bid, submitted and won. Alongside the web application, Otnox Scout is a menu bar app for macOS.

Does Otnox run on European infrastructure? +

According to the privacy policy, Otnox hosts data on Google Cloud Platform in EU data centres (europe-west), and sign-in and database run on Supabase in the EU region. This makes Google Cloud a US provider at the core of the infrastructure. The AI features, described as optional in the privacy policy, such as summaries, competition verdicts and opportunity qualification use OpenAI, which receives tender content and, for qualification, the company profile description. The website does not mention an EU model option. Emails are sent by Mailgun with transfer to the USA under standard contractual clauses, payments run through Stripe, and Google Analytics (GA4) is used for website analytics. The data processing agreement of March 2026 does not list OpenAI as a sub-processor, while the privacy policy of July 2026 names the service.

How does Otnox score public tenders? +

Users describe their offering, delivery regions and typical contract sizes once. On that basis, the AI scores each new tender on a scale of 0 to 100. Matching also follows the buyer as an organisation, so that renamed or differently spelled bodies stay covered. To make one search work across several markets, Otnox maps classification systems such as CPV, NAICS and UNSPSC to a shared category logic. An optional connector links Claude or ChatGPT with read-only access to the procurement data, and according to the privacy policy Otnox does not store the conversations.
