Nebul The European alternative to AWS Bedrock / Azure OpenAI

Nebul is a European AI platform from Nebul BV in the Netherlands, named a 2025 Gartner Cool Vendor in AI Specialty Cloud Providers. The portfolio includes the AI Factory with AI Studio (tailoring, data integration, observability) and AI Engine (model catalog, inference, fine-tuning, training), as well as the NeoCloud with GPU clusters, Kubernetes, and storage. Optionally, there is an on-premises variant with AI Pods for sensitive data or regulated environments.

Nebul positions itself as a sovereign European platform and operates its infrastructure in Europe. It uses NVIDIA GPU-based clusters; according to the provider, Nebul is an NVIDIA Elite Partner and a member of the Open Cloud Alliance. The operator is Nebul BV headquartered in the Netherlands and subject to Dutch and European law. US hyperscalers are not used as standard infrastructure.

Nebul is a Dutch platform with European sovereignty and dedicated GPU resources. AWS Bedrock belongs to Amazon Web Services (USA) and is subject to the CLOUD Act. Bedrock offers a significantly broader ecosystem with many integrated foundation models, while Nebul focuses on open models, fine-tuning, and inference on European infrastructure. For regulated industries and companies with sovereignty requirements, Nebul is clearly positioned apart from US hyperscalers.
