FOX Tasks.

FOX Tasks. is a personal planner for the iPhone, run as a hobby project by a private individual from Germany. The app combines tasks, lists and notes with recurring tasks and daily goals including streaks. The focus mode "Heute reicht das" limits the view to up to three tasks. It also offers shift planning including overnight shifts, work time tracking and optional weather and world clocks. The home overview, menu bar, colours and app icon can be customised. The app requires iOS 18 or later and is available in German and English.

According to the privacy policy, planning data is stored locally on the iPhone, and there is no separate cloud sync. The website, email and feedback server are run at one.com. The optional weather feature sends place searches and coordinates to Open-Meteo, and no GPS position is requested. Optional push notifications run through Apple's service, and tasks, notes, goals and work hours are not transmitted in the process. According to the privacy policy, the app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. The App Store label maintained by the provider lists identifiers, diagnostics and other data as possibly linked to the user's identity.

The Apple Watch app shows the tasks and daily goals for the current day and allows them to be checked off on the wrist. Streaks can also be viewed there. Items completed offline are synced with the iPhone later. The connection to the watch is explicitly enabled on the iPhone. Only a limited set of data reaches the watch, and note contents and contact details are not included.
