DollarDeploy The European alternative to Heroku / Vercel

DollarDeploy is a deployment service from Finnish Wizecore in Helsinki. Developers connect a GitHub repository and their own VPS server, and DollarDeploy handles build, deploy, and HTTPS configuration. Next.js, Go, and Python are supported. Unlike Heroku, the application runs on a user-owned server, so only the VPS costs plus a small license fee of one dollar per app per month apply.

DollarDeploy is operated by the Finnish company Wizecore in Helsinki and is subject to Finnish and European law. Applications are deployed to user-selected VPS providers; European options are Hetzner and Verda Cloud, and DollarDeploy also supports DigitalOcean (US provider with EU data centers). The control plane and build pipeline are operated by Wizecore.

DollarDeploy deploys to your own VPS servers, so data and application reside with the VPS provider of your choice. Vercel is a complete platform with its own global edge infrastructure and belongs to a US company. Vercel is significantly more expensive at higher workloads, DollarDeploy reduces costs to the pure VPS price. Vercel has a more mature edge and caching system, DollarDeploy focuses on simple self-hosting.
