Infomaniak is a Swiss cloud hosting provider from Geneva, founded in 1994. The company offers public cloud (OpenStack-based), VPS Cloud, web hosting, domains, mail, kDrive (cloud storage), kSuite (office), as well as streaming and webcasting. Infomaniak employs over 200 people and is a family business with no external investors. The company is B-Corp certified and ISO 14001 for environmental management.

According to the official FAQ, all services are operated exclusively in Infomaniak-owned data centers in Switzerland. Infomaniak designs, develops, and fully manages its infrastructure in-house, including all servers installed there. No AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or other US cloud service is used. The data centers are ISO 27001 certified (TIER III+) and run on renewable energy. Infomaniak is subject to Swiss data protection law, which the EU recognizes as equivalent, and not to the US CLOUD Act.

Infomaniak hosts exclusively in Switzerland with renewable energy and is not subject to the US CLOUD Act. Unlike AWS, Infomaniak offers an integrated portfolio of cloud storage (kDrive), office suite (kSuite), mail, webcasting, and cloud computing from a single source. AWS has the larger service portfolio and more global regions, but is more expensive, more complex, and subject to US law. For European SMEs prioritizing simplicity and data sovereignty, Infomaniak is the more direct choice.
